The 2019 APA Annual Convention will be in Chicago, Illinois!
We will provide updates about the upcoming convention soon. Questions about the 2019 SfHP program should be directed to the Program Chair, Travis I. Lovejoy, PhD, MPH. If you have general questions about the APA Convention, please contact the APA Convention Office at firstname.lastname@example.org or (202) 336-6020.
The 2019 APA Convention call for proposals is now open! The submission portal closes on Monday, December 3rd, 2018.
The Society welcomes submissions of symposia and posters in all areas of health psychology. (Please note that we do not accept individual paper proposals.) The Society also gives awards for the best student and early career professional posters, and the poster sessions feature several members of the Society who will serve as hosts to 4–5 posters and who will add to the lively discussions among participants. The submission deadline for symposia/posters is typically December 1, and all submissions are sent out for anonymous review.
Developing a high quality and engaging program for the Society would not be possible without the valuable contributions of reviewers and poster session hosts. If you are interested in serving as a host or reviewer of submissions to the SfHP program, please contact the Program Chair, Travis I. Lovejoy, PhD, MPH, or Barbara Keeton.

2017’s SfHP program theme was Broadening the Impact and Visibility of Behavioral Sciences in Healthcare and Health Policy. Our past SfHP President, Dawn K.
