The ECU Health Medical Center’s Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Medicine is excited to be recruiting for 2 Health Psychology Fellowship positions for 2025-2026! This one-year full-time fellowship in Behavioral Medicine/Clinical Health Psychology with a central focus on Consultation-Liaison Psychology and outpatient presurgical evaluations. Fellows will be key members of an interdisciplinary psychiatry service, providing consultation across medical units and outpatient mental health services. Key responsibilities include health psychology assessments, consultations, and wellness interventions. The fellowship offers advanced clinical experience within psychiatric and medical settings, teaching opportunities, program development and participation in didactics. While research is required, it is not central to the fellowship. Supervision toward independent licensure in North Carolina is provided, with candidates needing a provisional license upon acceptance.
