
Mass General Brigham
Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a large academic medical center and founding member of Mass General Brigham, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, seeks new faculty member at the level of Instructor or Assistant Professor in Pain Psychology, reporting to the Anesthesia Department Deputy Chair and Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs.
The ideal candidate has post-doctoral experience in pain management and research, and is committed to excellence in clinical care, clinical research ,and mentorship within the field of pain.
In addition to direct patient care responsibilities, additional responsibilities include:
• Collaborating with leaders and surgical, nursing, and administrative colleagues in developing and executing plans for patient care
• Conducting Independent and collaborative research within the field of pain
• Provide evidence of continuing medical education to meet the metrics for an academic appointment at Harvard Medical School (HMS)
Candidates must have a PhD degree or equivalent in Psychology or a related field and be licensed or eligible in Massachusetts.
