Clinical Psychologist Women’s Program – Albuquerque, New Mexico
At Presbyterian, it’s not just what we do that matters. It’s how we do it. How we do things here makes all the difference.
Presbyterian Medical Group and Women’s Services seeks a full-time Clinical Psychologist with experience in perinatal mental health counseling to join our team at Rust Medical Center.
The primary responsibility of this position is to provide brief, evidence-based outpatient behavioral support for OB patients through the antepartum, delivery, and postpartum periods. Presenting issues commonly include depression, anxiety, grief, traumatic birth experiences, fertility challenges, and substance use disorders during pregnancy.
The OB/Women’s Services program utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach with the integrated behavioral health provider physically located within the outpatient clinic. The psychologist will work collaboratively with the medical team (OB’s, RNs, Mas, and case management) to provide family-centered care as patients navigate the perinatal period.
