Job Summary
The Division of Psychology/Neuropsychology in collaboration with the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Women’s Institute are seeking a psychologist to join our growing team. Role is a clinically focused position, serving on multidisciplinary teams within our NICU, Labor & Delivery and Postpartum units. Primary clinical responsibilities include inpatient consultation, screenings for trauma and Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, individual and group evidenced based intervention, infant-early childhood mental health. Position includes opportunities for program development, research, and clinical training of post-doctoral fellows/residents.

The Fetal Care Center Team of USF Health Morsani College of Medicine and TGH includes highly skilled and caring professionals who provide specialized care for mothers whose pregnancies are complicated by illness or fetal abnormality. The Jennifer Leigh Muma Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Tampa General Hospital is an 82 bed, level 3 unit providing specialized care to the most fragile infants.
Eligibility
• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited doctoral program, including an APA accredited internship.
• Licensed/license eligible in the State of Florida
• Postdoctoral fellowship training in clinical health psychology or pediatric psychology
• Training in perinatal mood disorders and neonatal conditions
• Experience with multidisciplinary medical teams
• Ability to speak Spanish is desirable but not required
