The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health in Columbus are recruiting a full-time, one-year (2025-2026) Postdoctoral Fellow in Women’s Behavioral Health (WBH) for our ever-growing, interdisciplinary program serving women across the adult lifespan. Ideal candidates will have a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in clinical or counseling psychology. Preference will be given to applicants with interest and experience in women’s behavioral health or health psychology. More information is available in the attached document.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable outpatient clinical experiences in diagnostic intake assessments and the delivery of psychotherapy services. We provide patients with state-of-the-art care for mood and anxiety disorders, sexual health, substance use disorders and stress, with a special emphasis on the peripartum, gynecologic and breast cancers, menopause, and the menstrual cycle (additional information available HERE). In addition to providing clinical services, the fellow will participate in regularly scheduled training activities, such as weekly individual and group supervision with a licensed psychologist(s) and didactic sessions. Various elective opportunities are available, such as a research elective, Suicide Prevention and Trauma, and Sleep Medicine. The fellow will work closely with interdisciplinary team members across the medical center and other WBH trainees.
