Many people living with diabetes and their families face unique behavioral health challenges. The American Diabetes Association® (ADA) understands that behavioral health care is an integral part of diabetes management. For this reason, the ADA has developed free continuing education (CE) courses to help behavioral health professionals understand the unique challenges faced by individuals living with diabetes.
Courses include:
- Diabetes Education 101 for the Behavioral Health Professional (8 CE credits)
- Exploring Mental Health and Diabetes Through Case Studies (6 CE credits)
- Behavioral Health in Diabetes Care (5.25 CE credits)
Upon completion, participants can apply to be part of the ADA’s Mental Health Provider Directory, connecting those in need with professionals versed in diabetes-related challenges. Start today and earn free CE!
